Abrasive Removal Systems

The Ebbco Abrasive Removal System is designed to continuously remove the spent abrasive that collects in the catch tank, thus eliminating downtime for clean out and maximizes production. The Abrasive Removal System can be retrofitted to any Abrasive Waterjet Cutting machine tool.

Model GRS®-0303-CC

A Sweeper Package is custom designed to fit the catch tank and can be easily installed. The sweeper package incorporates a series of eductors to enhance water flow and keep the abrasive in suspension, pushing it toward the system pump suction port.

Spent abrasive is purged into the disposable bag. This bag is contained in a special hopper which allows the free water to return to the catch tank.

Spent abrasive is deposited in the hopper bag at the same rate at which it enters the catcher tank. The spent abrasive is relatively clean and void of parts larger than 1/8” diameter. The spent abrasive bag is lifted from the hopper and disposed of in a manageable, replaceable bag.
